The decision of construction of bodies for this model of chromatic is due to the handicap in this model with its body of origin in anodized aluminum, light weight metal but certain characteristic that does not prevent its deterioration with its rapid and frequent oxidation, this oxidation being very Inadvisable and of forced substitution.
The construction process is exactly the same as in the previous 12-channel models of the Hohner 270, three pieces joined together, the housings machined and all the threaded holes for the individual fixing of each plate of tabs and plates external to the body.
These bodies have received some modifications and improvements, a new threaded hole was added between the channels 9 and 10 to put a screw and a new fixing point next to the mouth and slide, as there are two other screws in the lower channels .
In the original space of the spring has been machined in parallel to be able to choose to use the spring and original mechanism or the new rear button.
In a design exercise, a new button has been attached to the outside of the body, exactly in a back part, as they had designs in previous models such as the Hohner 2016 CBH, a fact that is very popular among chromatic harmonica musicians that instead of using your index finger to press the slider or slide, use your thumb, being the backward position of the button to the outside much more comfortable for this number of harmonica players.
The machined and milled space for the original spring and its prisoner has been modified, to make room for two threaded holes, in one of them and put a round head screw, this can be used as a fixing point for the original spring, although , being minimally displaced, the two ends of the spring must be trimmed for a perfect use.
The second threaded hole opens the way to the second option, using a new screw to use it as an axis point for the cam that will perform the movement of the slide or slide. The new button-shaft is screwed with a new captive screw that will be used for the movement of the cam-piece that will connect the button with the slide-slide, thus, with the union of this button with the cam at this end, a point of support in the center and the union of the end of the cam with the slide-slide, we will have the operation with this new button, the original being canceled. It should be noted that the slide-slide must be turned on its longitudinal axis, because in this new functionality, when pressing the button the slide will move from its rest position to the left to the right for the change of holes free for the passage of the air and in the same notes that are originally placed.

All this laborious work, in this expensive material such as Titanium, machinery and special tools that have been used throughout the construction process make the resulting parts have a high price, approximately more than 900 euros.
